I’m a social butterfly, love catching up with friends & family in my spare time. I am married with three children and I am right amongst the teen phase currently.
Fun Fact: I wanted to be a makeup artist from the young age of 5 years old (photos to prove it) & have had a love for makeup ever since.
I started my career in the industry at 17 years old completing a diploma in makeup artistry, worked for multiple cosmetic companies in department stores, pharmacy & on the road as a travelling consultant in New Zealand & London.
In my early 20’s I started work in beauty therapy salons developing a further passion for helping women & men with their skin holistically, through advanced treatments & skincare.
When I started having kids, I became a freelancer makeup artist working alongside a talented hairdresser friend doing hair & makeup wedding, special occasions and ball makeups.
A few years ago, I decided to take the plunge and purchase Nefertiti a well-established beauty therapy salon in the heart of Milford and have built this up to be a busy bustling boutique salon where many locals visit regularly.
I am committed to providing a relaxed, enjoyable, highly professional and expert environment for clients at Nefertiti Salon. Front of house or reception you will most often be welcomed by me when you arrive and your treatment needs will be met by one of our three experienced trained beauty therapists or our cosmetic injectables nurse.
Adriana Tomovski
Advanced Senior Skin Esthetician
Our lovely Adriana has been with us since the beginning, her beautiful soft caring nature helps our clients instantly feel at ease with her.
With 27 years industry experience & having worked in many renowned salons in Auckland. Adriana has a passion for helping women with their skin conditions, her education and knowledge is outstanding.
Adriana is a pro at delivering results with advanced IPL hair removal & electrolysis and recently upskilled to offer Diathermy skin tag removal and Red Vein removal.
In her downtime she loves to spoil her two kids Cole & Mila, is super busy Mum getting them to all their extracurricular activities, enjoys a good gym session and plays softball for fun oh and her meringues are to die for.
Anya Simpson
Senior Esthetician
Anya has 14 years’ experience in the beauty industry including working overseas in London.
Anya has been with Nefertiti Salon for two years. Nicknamed our grooming guru, Anya loves creating fabulous brows, a smooth clean wax & one of her favourite treatments to do is a Lira clinical peel.
Anya's attention to detail is of utmost importance to her and always explains her treatments in detail for anyone new to us or experiencing a new treatment.
In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her two year little boy Corben and a large white sauvignon blanc is her favourite vice.
Charlotte Ross
Junior Esthetician
Charlotte has been with Nefertiti Salon since 2023.
Char has a little over two years’ experience in the beauty industry and has a passion for doing sculpted brows and lash lifts.
Having achieved level 5 diploma certificate in beauty therapy Charlotte has also acquired the skill of being able to offer electrolysis hair removal.
When is Char isn’t at work she loves walking her dog on the beach and enjoying time socialising with her friends.
Vanessa McNamara
Registered Cosmetic Injectables Nurse
Vanessa is a Registered Nurse professionally trained in cosmetic injectables, and is 100% committed to providing quality care for her clients.
We cannot stress enough how ethical Vanessa is in her approach to helping women feel confident and making them feel at ease with the right decisions for their skin. Vanessa believes that everyone deserves healthy, vibrant skin.
With 10+ years of experience in Appearance Medicine and Cosmetics in New Zealand’s leading skin clinics, delivering quality treatments across a diverse range of clients and skin types.
Vanessa enjoys time with her family when she is not busy with work and has love for thrift store shopping.

CANCELLATION POLICY
At Nefertiti we do understand that sometimes appointments needs to be rescheduled or cancelled but we do ask that you please allow us 48 hours’ notice prior to your appointment. Outside of business hours a message can be left on our phone or you can contact us through website, social media or alternatively text back to your appointment reminders.
If you fail to turn up for your scheduled appointment as a no show, you will be charged 50% for the services you originally booked for. If applicable your gift voucher will be voided, and any deposits paid will be retained. If you need to re-schedule your appointment and do not provide a minimum of 5 hours’ notice you may be required to pay a late service charge fee of $30.
